Equity Loan Exit, Sale or Staircasing Valuations, including Homebuy Direct

The introduction of the Homebuy Direct Scheme in 2009 allowed many people who were unable to get onto the housing market to purchase their first house.  This scheme required that upon selling the house, exiting the agreement or 'staircasing', an independant valuation from a RICS Surveyor would be required.  This is currently administered by Orbit Housing Association.

Ernest Hawk have a purpose built template for this kind of valuation, which meets the requirements of the scheme, namely;

1. We are RICS Registered Valuers

2. We are totally independent from an estate agency

3. Our report will be on headed paper and signed by a Member of the RICS

4. We will provide at least three comparable sales

5. We carry out a full conflict of interest check upon inspection to ensure no conflicts exist

6. We will inspect the interior and exterior of the building and provide a full report

7. The inspection date will be shown on the report
